For an organization with scattered branches, perhaps this technology can helps in monitoring work efficiency. Any comment?

i think you have to ask nasibah the feeling being 'look' all the time in office. At one point i agree it is one of the monitoring tool for work efficiency.When i put myself in the situation, work efficiency can't be measured through it because there are time we do our work out of work station.
Yes. by using this kind of technology, we can make sure that our staff will do their work efficiently. the top level management can see the progress of their workers more clearly.
to anonymous, you can see if they work efficiently but how sure are you that they are really doing their work? maybe they are doing something else, but make themselves look busy and at the end of the day, the efficiency level will still be below the targeted level. Don't you think its a waste of money to do so? :)
f.ezra, as u said i think this kind of tech should be utilized properly otherwise will be used for wrong purpose. yup, its true like Hafizah said, we ll feel uncomfortable to be watched at all time at office, but again, there a few workplaces require cctv like warehouse, in security services especially for banking industry etc. whatever it is guys, never install in your private place!
I used to be working under CCTV....after short time you will start to used with it and even do feel it!!....
And even some time felt insecure without CCTV!!!!
It's good to install CCTV at home. You know everything that is happening at home. There are cases where maids would torture their employers children. All activities will be recorded and can be used as avidence.
Just to add Prof..."and the cctv recorded video can generate money if we sell it to media" :)
